“Presenting” Elona A — stiff nipples and soft curves…
Newly legal and ready for a fresh, bold, and exciting challenge, 18-year-old Elona A. makes her erotic modeling debut in this MetArt gallery. I’m always drawn to first time models, and take my word, a youthful age and lack of professional experience are not liabilities in my book — far from it!
Perhaps in deference to her subject’s youth, photographer Catherine has kept things particularly simple and uncomplicated here. The setting consists simply of a bed dressed with crisp white sheets, a pair of side tables, and a lamp. A patterned curtain along the back wall provides a backdrop, and a light source, out of sight on the floor between bed and curtain, casts an upward glow.
Elona A. is totally nude from beginning to end, she isn’t wearing a single stitch of clothing, and her sole adornment is a petite diamond solitaire decorating her right nostril. Despite her inexperience, Elona seems to be quite at ease being so completely exposed. In fact, she has a calm, natural self-assurance that gives her a sexy, worldly quality. At the same time, she is also quite spontaneous, and in an image like #024, where she smiles broadly, in the middle of a hearty laugh, perhaps, her personality is particularly appealing.
Many of my favorite compositions here are headshots (see #001, #073 notable for the soft smile and over-the-shoulder pose, and #103, with her head partially obscured by a pillow). I also like #005 and #007 two roughly similar poses, with two different facial expressions, but with a unifying “bedroomy” quality that makes for a concise thumbnail of this enjoyable MetArt debut.
This is one delightful young woman who gives the impression of someone much more experienced and mature. She has a serenity and confidence about her that belies her youth and inexperience and yet she still maintains that freshness that only someone so young and fresh can manage. I find her quite interesting and a delightful new girl who very much fits the Met image. I am looking forward to more of her.
It’s hard to find fault with Elona, but there is a certain intensity to her features that makes her seem older than the 18 years mentioned in your review, and her model profile even describes her as being 23…
On a bit of a tangent, recent blog postings have highlighted something confusing: MetArt policy towards body piercings. Some, like the “petite diamond solitaire decorating [Elona's] right nostril” and Liza B’s much more sensual “eye-catching genital embellishment” in “Influer” are proudly showcased both here and inside the members’ area. Meanwhile others like Jenya D’s that are no less attractive are nevertheless routinely Photoshopped out. Is there any particular reason for this?
I also thought she looked a bit older than 18, but I took that number, found in her bio in the downloaded zip file, at face value. The age of 23 does sound a bit more realistic, but she could “pass” for 18 in a lot of the shots!
To the best of my — admittedly, far from comprehensive — knowledge, there is no explicit MetArt policy regarding body piercings. It’s fair to assume that, with MetArt’s preference for the “natural” look, that piercings (and tattoos) would be frowned upon, but models do what models do. I think some photographers shoot “around” distracting jewelry or skin art, and I expect that some images are removed at the editing stage, prior to posting. Additionally, as far as I am aware, any image editing that you may find in a particular set or photo was probably performed by the photographer, at his discretion (or lack of same, as has sometimes been the case).
