Scarlet fever…
It is not in the least subtle. And, though it may have it’s roots (pun intended) in nature, the shade of Ariel’s crimson locks has obviously received a dazzling boost from a bottle. That shocking shade of red even seems to tint entire frames in this series, but it is only one of this magnificent model’s eye-catching attributes.
The location for this essay by Luca Helios is a desolate, rocky shoreline. But this is a highly stylized photo set, not a nature documentary. There are times when the landscape takes on a surreal quality, and this results in truly memorable images.
Ariel A. is not only physically stupendous, she’s also extremely skilled in the art of the pose. She can be spontaneous and natural. She can be classically formal. She can create the illusion of movement when she is still. She can be coy and kittenish. And she can be stunningly, overtly sexual. Re Ariel, A Pensieri, there are two components to every erotic shoot, which seem to vary; artistic richness, and ability to arouse –cerebral and genital, or purity and lust. This shoot definitely wins on lust! Ariel’s success rests on her ability to arouse and project sex. Long lovely legs, perfect breasts – just look at #0017 and #0023. Her eyes and expressions challenge. “What are you going to do about me now?” She spreads wide and thrusts her hips forward, “Come on – you know you want me! I’m open and ready.” ~0078 and more. -and the nipple loving pics too. I hope Ariel would accept this as a compliment to her because she is so desirable.
Artistically I like the contrast of round rocks as background to soft curves. A criticism would be repetition from 34 -54 variations of the same pose. But who cares!
I have been a fan of Ariel, under her many guises for years. She has gone from cute to gorgeous. Now I know that it is a difficult thing to say years, because a model can not stay nineteen to twenty one forever. Today we are in the world of High Definition and this fact alone wears heavy on both models and photographers because it brings a whole new aspect of detail into perspective.
I am finding that far too many photo proofs are off focus, or soft focus to compensate. Personally, I think this is wrong. I don’t know if it the models request or the photographer’s choice but any flaw whether it be a mole or a few crows feet are all part of character and either personality or maturity.
If they are self conscious about it, they maybe a little nip and tuck……….but nothing insane, would help. Don’t let the final proof give us a false impression.
I want to see Ariel in sharp relief again.
I have been a fan of Ariel a long time and I think she is just stunning and she is one of my favorite models! The thing I like the most about Ariel is her face and eyes both of them are so incredibly beautiful.
One great feature you could add to Met-Art is if (and if so, where) the model appears on any other sites, I would really like to know if I can find Ariel (and other models too) on other sites
