“Spirales” starring Varya A — first time, second time, good time…

Varya A: Spirales, by Vladimiroff, sexy nude pix by new photographer

I wrote a post about this model’s first MetArt pictorial, and I liked it very, very much. Now she returns for her second gallery, with a whole new look. And her appearance isn’t the only thing new in “Spirales,” as it is the first contribution by the photographer Vladimiroff.

I will take a guess and assume that the set’s title refers to the printed pattern of the wallpaper in the room in which the set was shot. It’s got vertically arranged curling lines in black and silver against a white field — a bold and modern design. It is somewhat busy, however, and when one considers the paisley pattern of Varya A‘s sexy dress, the stylized zebra print of some throw pillows, and another geometric motif on her shoes, it’s a lot of graphic detail for a photographer to deal with. To his credit, Vladimiroff somehow creates a pleasing harmony.

Varya A is in a long bedroom. Deep in the dark end of the room sits a bed. Between bed and window is a long, low, leather sofa, where the model spends all of her time. The lighting here is somewhat tricky. The room is quite bright where the sun shines in. And quite dim in the shadows. This results in shots that are moody and evocative, and a few that, in my opinion, are simply underexposed. These compromised images are easy to ignore, however, because when Vladimiroff captures both lighting extremes — as he does in #042 and #052 — the results are particularly pretty.

Varya A has changed her appearance considerably since her debut. Her long, not-exactly-natural red hair is now shorter, curlier, and colored a more natural dark auburn shade. And she may have put on a couple of pounds, not at all a bad thing as it has simply made her body a pleasing touch more voluptuous. Vladimiroff has included a commendable variety of compositions in “Spirales,” some of my favorites include: #014, a moody fully clothed shot with lots of leg; #034 pretty torso and headshot; and #068 for the way it captures the curves and contours of Varya A’s shapely physique. The first time for this photographer, and the second time for this model, results in a good time for the viewer.

“Presenting” Kamilah A — lovely, lively, likeable…

Kamilah A: Presenting, by Arkisi, 19-year-old new nude modelPersonality is important. It can make an ordinary girl irresistible, and it can transform a true beauty into a star. But capturing personality with a camera isn’t easy. It takes technical skill on the photographer’s part, certainly, but it also requires sensitivity. A gifted artist has the unique skills required to put a model at ease and then create an environment in which she feels free to express herself fully.

19-year-old Kamilah A has personality, and plenty of it. And in “Presenting,” her first nude photo gallery for MetArt, that lively, energetic, and vixenish personality is on full display. It doesn’t matter if she is totally nude and boldly displaying herself in explicit poses, or if she’s demurely positioned in more modest images, Kamilah A projects an abundant and extremely engaging personality. And when a girl this physically appealing has such an attractive personality it’s impossible not to love her.

Models can be difficult. They can be moody, temperamental, irritable and even combative. But in these beautiful photographs by the artist Arkisi this model is at ease, engaged, animated, and projects pure enjoyment. I could be wrong, but I can’t help but feel that Arkisi and Kamilah A enjoyed every minute of this photo session — and that sense of fun and positive energy is present in nearly every frame of the series.

The set design and minimal costuming are thoughtful and stylish, the lighting unobtrusive, the photographer takes care to include a wide variety of compositions, and the model is free to display different aspects of her personality as well as a range of poses and moods. “Presenting” Kamilah A is both an extremely impressive new model debut, and a polished demonstration of the erotic photographer’s art. A girl this pretty, with a personality this pleasing, is a most welcome addition to MetArt, and I look forward to seeing much more of her in the future.

“Diffusio” starring Margita Lesna — gloriously gorgeous and glamorous…

Margita Lesna: Diffusio, by Arkisi, stunning beauty/explicit nude pixWow. I could stop there and be satisfied that I’d accurately and concisely conveyed my reaction to this MetArt erotic gallery. But this model is so impressive, and the photography is so skillful, that I will elaborate.

The magic begins at the very beginning — image #001. It’s a headshot and Margita Lesna calmly gazes at the camera with her big, dark blue eyes. The lighting is subdued, the room behind her shadowy, her beauty truly luminous. Yes, this photo, in its restrained way, elicits a “wow” from me. But at this point I have no idea how many more wows are still in store.

There is a logic to Arkisi‘s pacing through the series, but it doesn’t waste any time getting explicit or drawing out the tease unnecessarily. By #015 we’re treated to a luscious close-up of Margita’s femininity framed by the fingers of both hands — yes, another wow-inducing image.

There’s much, much more in the way of eye-popping erotic imagery in “Diffusio,” but the impact of this set comes as much from its beauty as from its steamy and inviting sexuality. The lighting, the relaxed atmosphere in this particular bedroom, the costuming (fishnet hose and little else), styling, art direction, all these elements work in rare harmony.

Margita Lesna’s beauty is absolutely wow-worthy. Her gorgeous face is framed by a luxurious mane of long wavy hair — in #035, #036, and #037 it plays a starring role. And this model’s lips, full, plump and luscious are also notable. But then, so much of her is. In shot after shot I find myself murmuring…wow.

Tasteful pin-ups, a varied selection of headshots, steamy explicit poses, and all captured with a smooth, understated style. Arkisi’s “Diffusio” starring Margita Lesna skillfully showcases a gloriously gorgeous and glamorous model.

“Exceptie” with Orvelia O — back to basics…

Orvelia O: Exceptie, by Goncharov, simple nude pix in a studio settingWhile there are certainly simpler MetArt erotic photo galleries, this offering from prolific contributor Goncharov achieves its strengths by getting back to basics with a minimum of additions and extras.

The artist experiments with two different set-ups in “Exceptie.” In the first, he’s dressed his model, Orvelia O, in one garment — a blue “sweater” knit in a fishnet pattern that leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. The lighting is soft and indirect, the white floor flows seamlessly into the backdrop, and a tall, white rectangular box serves as a chair or posing aid in some shots. Two of my favorites from this section include the first image, #001, in which Orvelia’s body as well as cheerful demeanor are on full display; and #014, a standing back shot that is a stylish study in simplicity.

In the second section of “Exceptie” the white box is replaced by a heavy, dark, high-backed chair made of stout lengths of what appears to be bamboo. At first Orvelia is wearing the net sweater, but she soon discards it and a long string of pearls becomes her “costume.” This section is, to my eyes, somewhat less coherent than the first, but it does yield many pleasing images. In #102 and #103, for example, using the necklace as the most brief of bikini bottoms, Orvelia O is erotically exposed even though she’s technically covered up.

Orvelia O has a pleasant energy and personality here and I suspect the simplicity of the set design gave her the freedom to experiment with her own style and presentation. I don’t expect that “Exceptie” will bowl many viewers over, but it achieves a pleasing effect with its model’s charm and the basic simplicity of its design.

“Fanari” starring Nichole A — smiling on a simple set…

Nichole A: Fanari, by Arkisi, leggy brunette beauty in explicit pixI loved Nichole A from the very first image in her very first MetArt erotic photo series. Of course love at first sight can be fleeting and temporary, but my initial impression and affection was only reinforced in the second and third Nichole A galleries I’ve evaluated.

The dark-eyed beauty with the warm, natural smile returns in “Fanari,” once again partnered with photographer Arkisi, and my expectations are justifiably high.

While Nichole’s beauty and charm are abundant and consistent in this set and the other three I’ve commented on, all four galleries are distinctly different, and Arkisi deserves credit for experimenting and exploring varied approaches to the same model. The last Nichole A series I blogged about was an outdoor set on a picturesque mountaintop. In “Fanari” she’s far, far away from nature, on a vivid purple seamless background in a controlled studio setting. The furnishings and extras are few. There’s a white chair and a table topped with a couple of tchotchkes, and the model’s costume consists of a pair of stiletto pumps and a frilly, coral-colored bra and panties set. The colors really “pop” and the simplicity of the design lets Nichole A‘s beauty shine.

This long-legged brunette exudes a rare, irresistible warmth. She’s almost always smiling, but it feels entirely natural and genuine. Whether she’s standing tall, hands on her hips, in the introductory shots (#001 and #004 are two favorites), or when she’s totally exposed in any of the numerous explicit poses, Nichole is cheerful and completely at ease. Nichole A’s personality really comes across in these photos, and it’s every bit as attractive as her physical attributes. If you’ve yet to experience this beguiling beauty, “Fanari” may well make you a fan of Nichole A.

“Voile” starring Mia Sollis — through a bird’s eyes…

Mia Sollis: Voile, by DeltaGamma, camera aloft shoots beauty belowLooking at erotic art photographs — that’s where my job here begins. And during my tenure as MetArt‘s blogger I’ve looked at many hundreds of pictorials, and studied nearly 100,000 individual images. Yes, it’s a dirty job, and I’m lucky enough to get to do it.

Sometimes it’s the model who makes a set successful. Sometimes it’s a scenic or picturesque location. There are series in which the artist and photographer have a rapport that results in exceptional photographs. And sometimes, although relatively rarely, a photographer comes up with a unique aesthetic concept for a set and executes it to perfection. And this last option is what I have the pleasure of discussing today.

The artist with the cryptic and mysterious name DeltaGamma has created something wonderful here. It is a splendid showcase for the model, Mia Sollis, and it seems tailored to her in many ways. But I can also easily imagine this treatment being applied with equal success to other models.

Voile” takes simple elements, adds a twist, and the result is far greater than the basic components. We have a floor of large white tiles, the grout lines cross on the diagonal forming a grid. A large piece of sheer white fabric gives the pictorial its title, gives Mia Sollis something to wrap her beautiful body in, and adds a suggestion of clouds or smoke to some shots. The twist DeltaGamma employs to such excellent effect is his angle or POV — he’s placed the camera above the model and shoots down on her for the bulk of the set. The combination of the high (and highly unusual) angle, the pattern of the tiles, and the effect of the fabric is truly striking.

When the floor becomes the “backdrop” it forces the model to pose in new and different ways. Here Mia Sollis does most of her posing while lying on the floor, and this creates the illusion that she’s floating in space. In several images she bridges her body off the floor, supporting herself with her feet and shoulders. And in others she aligns herself against the grid to mix crisp geometry with the soft curves of her body.

I might end this post with a list of favorite images, but I’ll restrain myself. Instead I’ll simply suggest you take a look at “Voile” for yourself. I’d be interested in hearing your impressions, whether you agree with my opinions, or not.

“Volunt” starring Chandra A — charming, disarming, delicious…

Chandra A: Volunt, by Rylsky, gorgeous, charming girl, erotic art pixSeveral commenters have voiced their approval of those MetArt erotic photo sets that feature a selection of images of the model fully clothed — not in costume, but in street clothes. I wholeheartedly agree, and that’s precisely how Rylsky has chosen to begin this series.

In the first image Chandra A, wearing flip-flops and a summery peasant dress, leans against a carved post and smiles at the camera. From this moment I am completely charmed. But, as I soon discover, Chandra and Rylsky are just warming up. In the first 13 images in “Volunt,” Chandra A is irresistibly engaging. Her expressions are subtly, and naturally, varied, her smiles are warm, and her beauty undeniable. As a bonus, she even treats us to an unexpected up-skirt view. Notice how her expressions change from #008 through #013 while she’s seated on a bench — and the series is only just beginning!

After she moves inside — to a wooden staircase in what I can only call a log cabin — the sandals come off and, after some delightful posing, the dress does, too. With her long limbs, petite breasts, sun-bronzed skin (complete with tan-lines), and short, dark, wavy hair Chandra A is a visual confection. To enhance the package her gorgeous smile and big, beautiful, blue eyes seem to be having a contest to see which facial feature can draw the most attention. Truly, this young woman has a wonderful, bright, lively energy that really comes across in these photos.

Chandra A’s abundant charm and arresting physical beauty and natural ease in front of the camera are enhanced by a complete lack of inhibition. I get the sense that Chandra A is enjoying every single minute of this experience. The explicit images are mouthwatering. The coy moments are delightful. The variety of expressions, the various smiles, the light and energy in those eyes — it’s simply mesmerizing. “Volunt” is only Chandra A’s third MetArt gallery — I sincerely hope she appears in many more, and very soon!

“Pelagos” starring Sabrina D — she floats my boat…

Sabrina D: Pelagos, by Leonardo, blonde super-beauty onboard a boatThere, I said it. And I’ve said it before, on the two — count ‘em: one and two — previous occasions I’ve been lucky enough to critique Sabrina D galleries, although I did phrase my declarations somewhat differently. This is an exceptionally beautiful young woman in my view, and her beauty is illuminated and enhanced by an intriguing and engaging personality. The physical details are flawless, and the attitude in those impossibly big and spectacularly blue eyes is impossible for me to resist.

Now let’s take this irresistible beauty and place her on a luxurious motor yacht, on the deep blue see, on a picture-perfect day. Further, let’s have a taker of countless perfect pictures craft a voluminous and immensely enjoyable MetArt erotic photo gallery. And that’s what we have in Leonardo’s “Pelagos.” There’s real synergy between model and artist here, and it is very difficult to cull even a couple of substandard images out of the 169 included in the set. Quality, quantity, and Sabrina D — an ideal combination.

There are times, while evaluating a pictorial, when I have to search for the truly outstanding images. Here I have the opposite problem — Sabrina D is so beautiful and charming, and Leonardo‘s artistry (particularly his lighting) is so pleasing, that it’s not easy to narrow down my list of selections. So, if the following list of the finer photos in “Pelagos” seems lengthy, at least you know why. #001, setting the scene, in bikini bottoms and striped top, mainly in shadow, but with a splash of light on her hair and upper chest and her feet slightly diffused in full daylight. #006, hood up, bottoms off, hand on hip, projecting adorable attitude directly into the lens. #025, body fully revealed — angelic, yes, but with a devilish undertone. #098. Wow. That face! Those eyes! Yes, #098 is a jewel.

To repeat, in “Palagos,” Sabrina D definitely floats my boat. It’s also amusing to note the various vessels in the background of several images, perhaps cruising closer for a better look — and who can blame them! How about #103, a glass of Champagne in her hand? If that’s not an advertisement for the good life, I don’t know what is! Yes, we find explicit shots, but we also have #148 in which she sticks out her tongue playfully. I could easily go on, but I think I’m going to have another look through “Pelagos” instead. I suggest you do the same!

“Presenting” Sarah Luvv — newcomer shoots newcomer…

Sarah Luvv: Presenting, by Holly Randall, new MetArt model and photogIn the world of erotic photography and video she’s a member of a legendary dynasty. Her mother, Suze Randall, is a pioneer of erotica having worked as a fashion and nude model, photographer, producer and director of soft and hardcore films in a career spanning 35 years. Her father, Humphry Knipe, is an author, a writer/director of XXX videos during the genre’s 1980s heyday, and an erotic website administrator. But while Holly Randall has a well-established reputation of her own in the family business, she’s only recently become a MetArt contributing photographer — this is her second MetArt erotic photo gallery.

I have no idea whether Mr. or Mrs. Luvv have any experience in the adult entertainment industry, but their daughter, Sarah Luvv, has embarked on a modeling career, and this set marks her debut as a MetArt model.

While the Randall women — mother and daughter — may be best known for shooting glamorous women in a glamorous style, Sarah Luvv is something of a girl-next-door type. Randall has come up with a treatment that is flattering to the model as well as a showcase for her own technical and stylistic talents.

Luvv is nude throughout. She’s posing in the shallow water at the edge of a grotto style swimming pool in a lushly landscaped backyard that very much evokes a tropical island setting. Sarah Luvv looks quite at home here, and seems at ease in front of the camera, as well. An introductory shot like #003 not only captures Luvv’s pert attributes and warm demeanor, it also demonstrates Randall’s deft lighting — and I do like the way the diffused background evokes an untamed jungle setting. There are explicit shots here, as well as shots that showcase the model’s big, brown eyes — #042 offers a bit of both. In #059 we find a beautifully posed and composed pin-up. And in #087 and #088 photographer and model create two wonderful headshots, the first eyes closed, the second eyes open. “Presenting” shows great promise for artist and model, alike.

“Dirante” with Yana B — shadows of night…

Yana B: Dirante, by Luca Helios, stylish, explicit, nude art photos

It’s a rare artist who exists in a vacuum. Even the most isolated, monastic artist has been exposed to the work of other artists at some point, and that exposure can’t help but influence his or her own work. Indeed, studying the work of other artists is one of the most fundamental ways in which an artist learns and grows. Perhaps you’ve heard of writers who transcribe passages written by Hemmingway in order to develop a finer understanding of his signature structure and style. And painters will attempt to copy the work of the great masters, emulating their technique while refining their own.

In the MetArt erotic photo series “Dirante” we find Luca Helios borrowing a page or two from Tony Murano’s style book. Taken simply as an exercise, this is an intriguing proposition, as these two photographers have distinctly different styles. When I think of Helios I immediately imagine photos shot at a coastal location in a natural style. While Mr. Murano’s work is generally the product of a studio setting with highly stylized theatrical elements and a particularly strong explicit component. Here the lighting is subdued, candles burn low in the background and Venetian blinds cast their shadows across many of the images. And explicit poses and close-ups are prominently featured. When the model drapes a string of crystal beads across her sex we can easily imagine Tony Murano nodding with recognition and approval.

The subject of these photos, Yana B, brings her own drama to the series. She has a strong face and a shapely body, and she is generous and uninhibited in her presentation. The very first shot in the set, a headshot in profile, presents her structural beauty as well as the moody style of the set quite eloquently. Even in this moody setting Yana manages to stay relaxed and doesn’t take things too seriously — when she smiles it’s natural, spontaneous, and enjoyable (see #005, #031, and the invitingly explicit #0037). Additional highlights include #041 for Yana’s bedroom allure, and #044, a beautiful, understated standing full-body shot. “Dirante” is a short series (it contains just 61 photos) but it’s an intriguing stylistic experiment.
