When a beautiful young woman decides to pose for erotic art photos in the nude she deserves our respect, admiration, and gratitude. Appearing totally nude in the digital age means that those images will be seen by millions of people, all around the world, and will be accessible and available for countless years to come.

Mika B — a 19-year-old first time MetArt model — has made this weighty decision, and she’s placed herself in the sensitive and capable hands of a female photographer, frequent and respected contributor Catherine.

I’m quite accustomed to giving new models a little leeway with their debut efforts. There are certain skills that only come with practice and experience, so I don’t expect a new model to perform at the same level as a model with dozens of sets in her portfolio. And in virtually every way — physical and emotional — Mika B’s debut is impressive. She has a great shape, lean but curvy, and her pert breasts and stiff nipples are tantalizing. Her face, framed by long, straight brown hair is also appealing — here she’s made up in an understated style, but I suspect she could also excel with a more polished, sophisticated cosmetic treatment.

And Catherine‘s design and execution of the series is pleasing, as well. The indoor setting, the soft, even lighting, and the colors selected all flatter the model, and there’s plenty of variety in terms of poses and compositions. One thing that is missing, however — and I blame both artist and subject — are any truly explicit images. As I suggest in this post’s title, baring means sharing, and when a nude model is as pleasing as Mika B, viewers expect her to share everything. There are a couple of shots of Mika’s beautiful behind, and details can be seen in the shadows, but these few glimpses only whet the appetite.

There are numerous beautiful images, thoughtful poses, and artfully framed photos in “Presenting,” but I wish Mika B hadn’t held back. When I come to a totally nude shot like #102, in which the model is seated, one leg resting on a nearby table, her other foot folded under, thighs parted, with one hand raised to her hair, the other one hiding her intimate bits, all I can think of saying is: “Mika, please move that beautiful hand!” I certainly hope she chooses to bare all and share all in future offerings — I very much like what I see here, I just want to see the rest!

A new week, a new girl — yet another chance to experience the debut performance of a new MetArt model. Stop me if you’ve heard me say this before, but viewing new models is one of the real treats of being the official MetArt blogger — and, obviously, of being a MetArt member, as well.

This isn’t one of those galleries that takes a while to grow on me — from the first image I was impressed. Jaime A is a very pretty girl, that’s readily apparent. And the style and mood of the set is relaxed and natural with few distractions and a casual, intimate feeling.

Rylsky is shooting in some type of open air wooden building overlooking a lake or pond, using only natural light. In many of the shots Jaime is seated on a stout log, part of the structure. In some of the images the model is back-lit and exposed in such a way that the background is slightly blown out while the pretty face and figure in the foreground is subtly emphasized (see #024). Rylsky employs a light touch (no pun intended) here, and his technique is not only perfectly suited to the location, but to the model, as well.

I don’t know if Jaime A has posed nude prior to this session, but I can tell you that this 19-year-old is composed, engaging, skillful, and not the slightest bit inhibited. She has a bright, lively, smile (#039), beautiful eyes, ripe lips, and strong features (#027), and a sultry, seductive, sexuality (#107). Explicit poses don’t overwhelm the set, but they are plentiful, and they are, without question, enticing in the extreme.

Rylsky’s understated natural style and Jaime A’s natural beauty and allure combine to make “Presenting Jaime A” an impressive debut, to be sure.

Another day/another new model makes her debut appearance in a MetArt erotic photo series. While this is routine in the world of MetArt, it’s also truly exceptional. Day after day, week after week, all year long, new models are swelling the ranks of the MetArt talent roster, at a rate no other site can dream of matching. New girls/more girls, that’s what’s known as a win/win situation.

And this newcomer, a slender, long-haired, 18-year-old is truly new. “Presenting” isn’t simply Lina Diamond’s MetArt debut, is the first nude photo series she has ever posed for. This first time really is a first time.

Rylsky is behind the camera for Lina Diamond’s debut, and she’s in more than capable hands. The photographer has chosen a pleasant setting. There is a single chair on a patio with an elaborate, black wrought iron railing. In the background the tall trees of a forest or parkland gently filter the abundant sunlight. One can sense the warmth and quiet of that afternoon and it ads a pleasant dimension to the set.

“Presenting” begins with series of varied and exceptional close headshots. Lina’s eyes are closed in the first image, she’s smiling in the third, and her eyes are closed again in #005 and her expression is both dreamy and evocative. When he pulls back we see the model is wearing a tight black dress. The top will come down and the hem will be quickly raised, but it stays on Lina’s body in one way or another for nearly the entire pictorial.

Explicit shots are plentiful and nicely balanced by more modest shots, and Lina performs quite nicely, particularly for an inexperienced model. She offers up intimate views without hesitation. A bit more attention to south of the border grooming might have been in order for a premiere pictorial, but that’s a flaw that’s easily fixed in future photos.

Lina Diamond has a warm and natural quality, and to my eyes belongs in the girl next door category. I look forward to watching her grow and evolve as a MetArt nude model. And you, dear reader, what are your thoughts about this new arrival? Please share you reactions in the comments, below.

The first impression. The thrill of discovery. That very first glimpse of a fresh face. If you have an eye for and an interest in feminine beauty, there are few experiences to compare with setting eyes on a beautiful girl for the very first time. I believe this is central to the success of MetArt, because no other site can match seemingly endless parade of new erotic models, year in and year out! We all have our cherished favorites, to be sure, but what MetArt member doesn’t look forward to the arrival of new models in the galleries?

Which brings us, conveniently, to Iwia A. Under the guidance of Luca Helios this dark-eyed beauty performs admirably in her first appearance at MetArt. Her styling and presentation are natural and understated, and the bright white lingerie set she’s wearing flatters both her figure and her coloring and complexion. Likewise, the style of the room and the lighting is natural and comfortable. And, apart from the slightest hint of stiffness in her hands, Iwia appears to be comfortable whether clothed or completely, explicitly exposed.

While Helios does suffer from a bit of Lost Horizon Syndrome — the dreaded tilting camera disease — off-kilter shots don’t out-number the plumb and level compositions, and he includes everything from full-length portraits, to some beautiful headshots (#045 and #049 in particular) as well as close-up details of feet and other enticing anatomical attractions.

There’s not a great deal of drama here, but Iwia A has a pleasing energy to go with her appealing appearance. It’s hardly a blockbuster, dramatic debut, but “Presenting” Iwia A certainly provides an enjoyable introduction.

They don’t happen terribly often, but when a new MetArt erotic photo series marks the debut of two first-time contributors, it’s an event worth noting. “Presenting” Mango A not only presents a new model, it’s also photographer Vlad Kleverov’s premiere creation for the site, so I approach it with a two-scoop serving of anticipation.

And that anticipation is more than satisfied by what I find in the series. Mango A is a natural beauty and — particularly considering her age and lack of modeling experience — acquits herself quite well in her debut sitting. From her bio I learn that she’s “a true nudist,” and that certainly results in a relaxed and uninhibited on-camera demeanor.

Vlad Kleverov‘s concept and execution of the set, barring a couple of minor missteps, is inventive, unusual, and enjoyable. The model is nude throughout. She’s positioned on the hardwood floor of a naturally lit room with a package of mounted photographs — half a dozen urban landscapes. Much of the set features Mango scrutinizing and arranging the photos. It’s an interesting device, but it isn’t completely successful. Is she the proprietor of a nudist art gallery? Is she decorating her own living space? Some of these posing-with-pictures shots, #038 or #120 for example, verge on the silly.

Even if the idea isn’t entirely successful, I give the photographer credit for coming up with an interesting new approach to a set — it really was quite clever of him.

There are a couple of underexposed images, these could (and should) have been omitted (see #022) but I have no trouble choosing favorites from the remaining shots. In #029 the model assumes what I’m told is known in yoga circles as the “happy baby” pose with a pleasing result. I like the casual, thoughtful, naturalistic feel of #049. I like the explicit abstraction of #060. #061 is an interesting head-and-shoulders shot. #070 offers an explicit and creative pose. And additional explicit highlights include #089 and #091. “Presenting” Mango A is a promising debut, times two.

A wall bathed in blue light in the background and a bed dressed in earth tones in the foreground are the primary decorative elements in Kristina J.’s first MetArt erotic pictorial. The model is an interesting decorative element in her own right, and the more I looked at her work here, the more I liked both it and her.

Slender and shapely, with long dark hair, Kristina J. is wearing a sheer pink nightie as the set begins. The filmy, frilly garment leaves nothing to the imagination, but it does add a bit of pleasing color and a flirtatious flavor to the initial photos. By image #028, with the neck pulled down to reveal her pert and petite bosom, the model is definitely winning me over. In #035, the lower half of her face masked by the pink fabric, I find the look in her dark blue eyes (and the composition and framing of the photograph) quite delightful.

Frequent MetArt contributing photographer Alex Sironi takes care to capture this new model in a variety of poses. Two headshots — #052 and #111 — feature two different aspects of the model, while also demonstrating the artist’s compositional skill. In the first, lying on her side, her raised right forearm is balanced by a bedpost in the background, while Kristina’s smile and creamy complexion fairly glows in the foreground. In the second image, the frame is much tighter, the mood more reflective — a different but certainly beautiful shot.

The variety of moods and photographic styles extends to explicit shots and intimate close-ups, as well. The ripe delights of the model’s rump and other fleshy assets make #091 particularly memorable. I love the way Kristina’s face is framed by her bent leg in another bold exposure, #057. And #061 offers an interesting pose and a confidently stylish photo that cleverly and most effectively captures Kristina J.’s physical attributes as well as her intriguing personality.

The vast majority of MetArt‘s erotic photographers are male. This makes perfect sense, given the subject matter. But one need not be male to be drawn to the nude female form, and several of our contributing artists are, themselves, women. Of these, Catherine is certainly among the most prolific.

Her latest subject, and a first-time MetArt model, is Kate E. Based on the first shot in the series, I can easily see much potential. Kate’s face is particularly pretty, her lips full, her eyes a deep blue, and all this framed by long, wavy brown hair. In the second shot, although I do not yet realize it, she exhibits one of the telltale errors made by inexperienced models. Her hands — one held above her head, and one down at her side — are stiff and self-consciously “posed.” Indeed, there are few images in the set in which this isn’t the case. Now, I admit, the style and placement of her hands may well have been at her photographer’s request or direction. But, no matter the origin or motive, these rigid hands impart a stiff, artificial feel to the set.

And, for the second post in a row, I must grumble about two other factors here, both of them chosen by the artist. There is a light in an adjoining room that casts a coppery glow on the subject. In certain compositions, headshots in particular, the effect is flattering. But when there is more skin on display it skews the flesh tones in an unfortunate direction. Catherine also throws in a selection of oddly tilted frames. Between the light and the illogical tilt, I can now say I’ve had the opportunity to voice my two current pet peeves.

Because Kate E. has a “go-to expression” (lips neutral to almost pouty, head turned slightly to her right), the best shots are where she strikes an unusual or surprising pose. In #016, leaning against a large wardrobe, her costar in the set, she’s on her knees, with her feet raised, toes pointing skyward, and regarding the camera over her left shoulder. In #038, a stylish figure study, captures Kate from the rear, her face in thoughtful repose. And, for sheer, what-the-hell, variety, #084 provided a spontaneous laugh. Here Kate performs a graceful handstand and provides an unusual and eye-catching view of her body. Similar displays of spontaneity and athleticism will prove valuable in future sets.

Newly legal and ready for a fresh, bold, and exciting challenge, 18-year-old Elona A. makes her erotic modeling debut in this MetArt gallery. I’m always drawn to first time models, and take my word, a youthful age and lack of professional experience are not liabilities in my book — far from it!

Perhaps in deference to her subject’s youth, photographer Catherine has kept things particularly simple and uncomplicated here. The setting consists simply of a bed dressed with crisp white sheets, a pair of side tables, and a lamp. A patterned curtain along the back wall provides a backdrop, and a light source, out of sight on the floor between bed and curtain, casts an upward glow.

Elona A. is totally nude from beginning to end, she isn’t wearing a single stitch of clothing, and her sole adornment is a petite diamond solitaire decorating her right nostril. Despite her inexperience, Elona seems to be quite at ease being so completely exposed. In fact, she has a calm, natural self-assurance that gives her a sexy, worldly quality. At the same time, she is also quite spontaneous, and in an image like #024, where she smiles broadly, in the middle of a hearty laugh, perhaps, her personality is particularly appealing.

Many of my favorite compositions here are headshots (see #001, #073 notable for the soft smile and over-the-shoulder pose, and #103, with her head partially obscured by a pillow). I also like #005 and #007 two roughly similar poses, with two different facial expressions, but with a unifying “bedroomy” quality that makes for a concise thumbnail of this enjoyable MetArt debut.

First time MetArt model Feeona A. concludes her bio with the following suggestion: “Enjoy life and smile often.” And it becomes quickly clear that she follows her own advice. There is a lively light dancing in this model’s eyes, and a smile is never far from her lips. And when she is smiling, quite often that smile is joined by a pair of pretty dimples in her cheeks.

The set begins outside on a sunny day. Wearing a short dress — and that adorable smile — Feeona makes a fine first impression. A shot like #010, with the model leaning against the wall of a building, has a casual quality and her pleasant personality is evident.

After getting to know the model in an urban setting, the series moves indoors for a more formal, stylized photo session. Here the studio light is diffused, the background is white, as is a layer of sheer fabric which gives the floor a cloudlike texture.

One of my favorite shots in this gallery is #037. Feeona is still fully clothed in this headshot. She’s framed from her shoulders up, and the composition, combined with the lighting and the expression on Feeona’s face is very pretty. Another headshot, #100, is another favorite. The dress is absent here, and the model is lying down, but the beauty of her face is deftly captured.

While photographer Rylsky tends to hang back at a respectful distance for the more explicit poses, Feeona is quite open and uninhibited in her presentation. I get the feeling she is completely at ease before the camera, and enjoying this experience to the full. Have a look at a totally nude shot like #065 and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

…It’s highly likely you’ll love this set. I am a fan of the photographer, Alex Sironi, but I feel it’s only fair to declare, before I proceed, that this model doesn’t completely “do it” for me.

And that’s exactly the way matters of personal taste work. While the MetArt talent pool is overwhelmingly biased in the direction of truly beautiful women and girls, I favor some over others, you do the same, and we will not always be in complete agreement, nor should we be. I can easily imagine that Leona D. is a charming girl, with personal and physical attributes that will earn her countless admirers. I like her, but I do not love her.

True to form, Mr. Sironi keeps the set design simple. The entire series unfolds on a sofa in front of some windows with a picturesque view of a cityscape. Leona D. is wearing a turquoise blouse, a necklace, and a pair of sexy panties. As the set progresses, and her clothing comes off, the model attempts a range of expressions, some with more success than others. I will attribute this inconsistency to a lack of modeling experience. And, as is so often the case, the most successful shots here are those in which the model stops “working” so hard, and simply relaxes and lets her natural spirit shine through. A shot like #107 makes my point. Here her pose seems natural, her face at ease — a pleasing image. Another shot, #088, although more explicit, if not quite as flattering, reflects this more natural presentation.

But some of the more consciously posed images here do provide a glimpse of Leona D.’s warm spirit, and #072, a full-length standing shot, has a pleasing style and an inviting energy. And what’s not to like about that?
